Last week I got a Samsung Smart PC and I definitely wanted to make my own cover/sleeve for it. All I knew was that I wanted a black cover with a little red or pink. While I was sewing this neoprene cover I saw some silver stars in my sewing collection. No longer black and red I thought, but black and silver it had to be!

DIY Dutch spring dress!
Spring is in the air! More reasons to start sewing again I can’t get. The maxi dress I made last summer needed an update. So I bought some new fabrics and created this spring maxi dress.
I would love to make another one in black and white. What do you think about that?

DIY Dutch tube dress!
Last week I turned 25 and because of this amazing achievement 
I gave a small birthday party. The week before my party I went to Cuba with my boyfriend and totally forgot to buy a birthday dress (and to send the invitations). Stupid me!
Because of all the chaos of not having an amazing dress, I had to create my own (what a pity). Last summer I’ve bought a digital printed fabric with different colors and flowers printed on it and I thought that it would be a great fabric to make a tube dress out of it. The greatest thing about a tube dress is that you can wear it any way you want. For this occasion I wore it as a strapless dress, but you can also wear it as a maxi, midi of mini skirt. Be creative!
I have never made a dress more easier than this dress. And above that it only took me half an hour!
Do you want to know how you make a tube dress? Measure your bust and multiply by two. Cut out the rectangle and sew the long sides together. For a better fit make a tunnel around the bust part of the dress and attach a piece of elastic. For a neat finish, just hem it! My advice: just try!
I’ve chosen to wear a studded jacket on top of it to make it a bit more spicy. I forgot to make a picture without the jacket on, I’m so sorry for this incomplete look …

DIY Dutch snake palazzo pants!
Three months after my last blog post I startes sewing again. I´ve so many ideas because of the holiday season, but first things first….. My palazzo pants are finally finished and I wanted to share the finished product with you!
Okay it is no satin palazzo by Roberto Cavalli, but I think they look great! What do you think? Would you wear this grey colored snake palazzo pants?

DIY Dutch inspiration!
My palazzo pants are almost finished. I only have to hem the trousers and they are ready to wear! I came up with the idea of making a pair of palazzo pants by looking at the collection of Roberto Cavalli. He created the most beautiful snake printed satin palazzo pants ever!
Glamorous snake prints and satin swept the runways, and these pants from Roberto Cavalli are perfect to wear this pattern. Offcourse I am not capable of getting this stunning fabric, but if I ever see it, I will definitely purchase it. Tonight I’m gonna finish my own palazzo pants and will soon post the photos.

Dubble Cardigan!
I know it’s been a long time since I’ve posted something. I’m so sorry guys! After graduating, I immediately started a new job. I had quite a busy and exciting time, I know, it’s no excuse, but still….
Besides my new job I have still watched the DIY trends and I’m full of new ideas. On top of my to-DIY list is the duo tone cardigan from Park &Cube.
You make this cardigan out of two cardigans. You will always end up with two new cardigans and that means that you can give one of the two duo tone cardigans as a gift to a friend! Do you like this idea?
